The Design experience begins at The Studio with an in depth consultation with the Designer, Lindka Cierach.

Preferences of shape, fabrication, colour and the occasion are all discussed before Lindka sketches your Designs.

YOUR COMMISSION

Once you have confirmed your Design, The Studio Team starts the process of Creation. Working with your measurements, a member of the highly specialised Team drafts your personal pattern, taking into consideration your posture and proportions.

From there your Toile is cut and made, ready for your first fitting. The Toile is the first look at your Design in calico and is a crucial fitting stage, prior to cutting your Design in your chosen cloth. This fitting is the opportunity for Lindka to discuss the finer details and to refine your neckline, hem length, lining colours etc.

Following the Toile Fit, your pattern is amended and your Design is cut in cloth.

The number of cloth fittings that follow is dependent on the availability of the Client and the complexity of the Design. We would anticipate a minimum of one fitting in cloth before the final collection.

The Couture process takes from 6 weeks, depending on the style of the Design, choice of fabric and your availability for fittings.

In exceptional circumstances, the skilled and dedicated Team are able to create Designs in a shorter timeframe.
